Change the outgoing mail smtp server port

Applies to: Advanced mailbox users with roaming smtp server who use ISPs which block port 25 or use port 587 for sending mail

This information is provided "as is" with no liability for loss or damage

The ports available for use with our roaming smtp server (outgoing mail) are; Port 25 (default) , 225 or 587.

However, some ISPs restrict the use of smtp and may block the default port 25, for example

AOL block port 25 please use port 587
Eclipse Internet use port 25
Tiscali please port 225
BT changed from port 25 to port 587 & now block port 25 on some accounts

If in doubt try port 225 then change to either 587 or 25 if 225 wont work
